1. Do you invite people over for coffee or tea?
No I do not.
2. Entertaining is a good way to serve others. The bible encourages it in talking about how to be a good person:
Isaiah 58: "“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? "
Do you entertain often?
No we do not entertain often. Certainly not with Covid but we never did. Adam and Gabby are the only family we have here. We don't really have any couple friends.
Before James was born we had Adam and Gabby over but then after he was born it was easier for us to go by them because of his nap time and bed time. He sleeps in a dark room which we don't have here.
3. What kind of refreshments do you offer to guests?
We always have some soft drinks in the refrigerator, water, coffee, a cocktail or wine.
4. Do you enjoy tea and/or coffee? How do you take it?
I enjoy a cup of coffee and I put a touch of creamer in it.

Years ago my sister in law would come over and we would sit for hours talking and drinking tea.
These days I drink more coffee than tea but still enjoy both. I love my coffee with a bit of white chocolate raspberry creamer.
I enjoyed your answers today.
Have a great Tuesday my friend.
I love those little red mittens, Debby! So bright & cheerful! We don't entertain either. We used to when we were first married. We were friends with a few couples and it was nearly every weekend we got together at one of the houses to play games & have snacks. But that's gone by the wayside many years ago. As you say, we get together with our adult kids & their spouses but that's it. I honestly prefer to keep to myself. ~Andrea xoxo
I am my daddy's daughter! Neither one of us like to have people over and my poor mother wanted to have people over all the time and never got to. Bob and I don't entertain and even before that I never did either. I used to go visit my friend and have coffee with her but we both work so it was hard to find a time to do it that's when we were raising our kids. My best friend the one I used to have coffee with is an Entertainer and her house is always full of people and she loves it that way
I miss having people over.
I used to LOVE to entertain! MS has made that a lot more difficult because I'm not able to keep the house in order and there's a lot of extra stuff in the house needed for my condition. I don't think my husband was ever big on entertaining but he tolerated it when we were first married because I love to do it so much.
In general I'm definitely a coffee person, lots of different flavors sometimes black and sometimes with a little bit of creamer. Every once in a while I'll go for one of the super sweet with whip cream coffee drinks. (My doctor comes to my house and a couple of years ago when I had broken bones in my feet she was visiting every week and she would bring me butter bear from Biggby coffee. I consider that medicinal coffee now) ;)
I also have several boxes of herbal tea that I enjoy as well.
I'm glad I got a chance to do some reading early enough to feel up to leaving comments today! Happy December, but may next December even happier for all of us!

If I had done this my answers would have been very similar to yours. Except I don't drink coffee or tea. :)
We don't have couple friends either. Thought we might get more involved with things after hubby retired and then this virus started so that has curtailed that a bit :) I like coffee with French vanilla creamer in it but trying to limit how much creamer because of the calories!
betty
I don't entertain much either. LOL. One, I am not really the hostess type, and two - in the early years with our daughter who has Autism, it was so hard to have anyone around. Not many people understand Spectrum Disorders, so it easier to stay away and not get involved. I do love a cup of coffee though, and if anyone drops by, they are always welcome! =)
We haven't entertained in years. I occasionally would have lunch with friends, but that's out of the question now, of course.
I bet if we had coffee together we would have a ball!
