A Merry Little Christmas
Christmas is fast approaching for millions of people...
1. Do you have a favorite Christmas carol and if so is there a particular version you especially like?
I like Silent Night, it reminds me of my mother.
2.Do you have a special dinner for the holidays? What foods are included?
Often on Christmas day we will make a Prime Rib. There would be rolls, mashed potatoes, corn, horseradish sauce and probably some cheesecake. However I also make the Bohemian Hoska but that is usually eaten in the morning.
3.Holiday movies ... which do you like to watch?
No can do, I have so many favorites..... It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, Miracle on 34th St., 3 Santa Clause Movies, Elf, The Holiday, The Family Stone, Love the Coopers, A Bad Moms Christmas, Office Christmas Party, Scrooged, Arthur Christmas and Prancer just to name a few.
4. What traditions do you continue to keep year after year for the holidays?
I love to go to church on Christmas Eve. Then we come home and watch It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas. Won't be going to church this year.

There are way too many Christmas carols that I love. I can't say that I have a favorite. I love them all. I do prefer the traditional ones the most though.
So what church do you go to on Christmas Eve? It is sad how Covid has cheated us from so many thing. But I am thankful that my family is okay. I just saw Elf for the first time and it was funny!
There are too many Christmas carols and Christmas movies I like
to mention on my post.
I enjoyed your post today.
Have a great Tuesday my friend.
Can you stream in a Christmas Eve service, Debby? I know lots of churches here are doing that along with in person services (which I know you aren't doing in person there). Silent Night was my mom's favorite Christmas carol :)
betty
Hoping things will be better next year and we'll be able to keep our traditions again.
you already know i have zero tradtions for any thing at all, but i do have a favorite Chrismtas movie and have watched it many times. Miracle on 34th street, the original one, but also love the 2nd version. I used to have a set menu for Christmas dinner. tureky, dressing, ambroisa, cranberry, creamed corn, the frozen one, yeast rolls, brussel sprouts or green beans. mother always had 3 salads, rice and gravy and 3 different pies and fruit cake. added to what I said was mine. no wonder i am fat
I am watching the original Miracle on 34th street as I read blogs. Such a good movie. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Don't tell Tom (*wink*), but I'm not that fond of prime rib. He was so excited to buy one for our Christmas Eve dinner. (Christmas Day will be spent at my son's home.) Our pastor is holding in-person Christmas Eve services, but we still elect to participate on-line.
I love your meal - would love to come and eat some!
You and I watch the same shows! lol
