Just wanted to let you know how my follow up appointment went with my doctor this morning. I am going to go for a bone density test to see if anything else is going on with my should, neck and back pain other than some normal aging.
I've been feeling better since my visit to the ER and not needing the Norco pain medication. There are a few exercises I can do to help stretch things out. Since I've been struggling so much with medical issues since the beginning of the year, I haven't been able to walk on my treadmill as regularly as I should be.
The good news is that between the blood work I had done on May 6th for my doctor and the blood work that the hospital had done, every single thing is in the "normal" range and I am so happy to hear that. I'm always so afraid that they will find something.
I do work hard at eating healthy food and staying away from salt and sugar along with watching my carbs. I have also lost 10 pounds which is something I've been working hard on lately. So hopefully this weight loss will continue and I pray I can get on the treadmill more often providing my lungs are in good working order each day.
I just need to push myself because it is too easy to be lazy!

So glad everything is in the normal range, that is always such a relief to hear. Hope they can figure out a way to help with the pain. Have a great weekend!
Great news, Debby! 'Normal' sounds reassuring, indeed. Thank you for sharing your good vibes!
Wonderful news, Debby! Steady as she goes...just keep moving in that right direction with diet and whatever exercise you are able to do...every bit helps. Praying you will soon be feeling 100% better.
That does seem like a good report from the doctor, Debby! I hope the bone density test will come out with favorable results when you have it done. Great job on the weight loss and the healthy eating! I think we all are a bit lazy with one thing or another. I know I have to get on the treadmill first thing in the morning or else I won't get on it the rest of the day and I also know if I ever stop doing it, it will be really hard to motivate myself to get back on it. Keep up the good work!

It sounds like great news. Kudos for losing 10 pounds!
Glad to hear you are feeling better and I hope that the additional tests will provide you with some answers. I'm all too aware of how easy it is to be lazy. I should be doing exercises to help with all the aches and pains. I know they work but I can't get myself to do them. Way to go on losing the 10 pounds. That's another thing I'm having a hard time with.
Such GREAT news, Debby, all the way around....but I'm sorry you're still having pain. Yes, exercise isn't easy for me to do either...especially with pain added to the mix. I pray your good progress continues! ~Andrea xoxo
Yay for normal blood work and for the pain being better than it was. Hope it continues to get better. I am the pefect example of how excercise helps, that is the one thing I do every single day. I walk every day but I do excercises. they change up not always the same. If I stop or miss a day the pains come back. I have done my leg excercise 3 to 5 times a week since Nov 2015, that is how I can walk, when I stop them the pain comes and i can't walk. hope you can get back to your treadmill soon
Congratulations on the weight loss! That's a great accomplishment. And I'm glad the tests are all coming back normal. My back has been giving me fits lately and I'm wondering if there's something wrong or if it's just aging. Or maybe we need a new mattress? I will try just about anything before having to go to the doctor.
Good for you, and good luck with the pain. Thank you for the update...sending prayers and good wishes.
Sending prayers and hugs.. thank you for the update.
Love, Carla
