These are some photos from our drive to Montana in April. We have been going there a few times a year for about six years now so I don't take as many photos as I used to. I always like the rock formations as you can tell by the photos.
If you are reading this post today, I am on my way to Great Falls, MT. Mark left 2 days ago for Chicago and will be going fishing in Canada. He suggested that I go and visit with Amber and Dylan so that is what I am doing. I will not be reading posts during this time. Hope all is well with everyone.
To be fair, this is one of the things I have been struggling with. I have been very nervous. I haven't flown alone in about 5 years and I don't even know how to check in at an airport anymore.
I'm driving to Adam's house this morning and he will take me to the airport near their house. I have a layover in Denver for a few hours. I also use the wheelchair option because of my COPD. Please pray for me. My lungs still are not where they should be.
(Update) I have been to Urgent Care twice and the last time was yesterday. Chest x-ray looked okay. I have gotten a steroid shot each time. First one did nothing. I was also given an antibiotic because it looked like I may have had some leftover infection but I do not have pneumonia. Keep me in your prayers.
Utah snow capped mountains.

Take care and God Bless

Montana is beautiful. prayers going up for a safe trip and that you will find all the help you need in the airports. I have only flown once, back in 1969 and had no clue then and now would never do what you are doing. good girl for overcoming the axiety.
What beautiful photos! I oray you are doing well with the travel and are feeling better, too!
Judging by your photos, Debby, I'd say Montana is God's country! Know that I will keep you in my prayers, my friend.
I think all of the West is lovely country. Utah is my favorite, so far, what with the Zion Canyon, Bryce, etc.
Prayers for traveling journeys. Except for one trip in 2008, I don't fly anymore since Pres. Bush. Once it was loads of fun, not now. Be safe. 💙
Praying ... have fun Debby, and tell us all about your time with your Montana family when you get home.

Hugs and praying for your health, flying and enjoyment at Amber's home.

The photos are gorgeous. I had an aunt that used to go to Montana to visit her sister. I also have a friend who lives there.
Hope you have smooth travels and you get there stress free.
So very beautiful!
I don't blame you one bit for feeling anxious. Flying has become so burdensome, even for those who travel regularly.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful time with Amber and Dylan and your grand puppy!
Nice photos, this is the closest I will ever get to seeing these amazing rocks being I am in a different country
Oh Debby - prayers for your trip and let us know. It has to be scary going alone, but I know you can do it and when you get there you will be fine! ♥
Praying you have had a safe and uneventful flight, and that you are happily there with your kids, enjoying some special times together. Praying for your health to improve while you are there as well. I love the pictures...such a beautiful place!! Just relax and enjoy!!!
Prayers for your trip and for your lungs. I hope you enjoy the visit, and the photos are fabulous. ❤️
Such wonderful photos Debby! I hope you've enjoyed your time with your daughter and the travel went smoothly!
