2. Your top five snacks?
1. Nacho cheese Doritos but I seldom eat them. 2. Rotel with melted Velveeta cheese and chips. 3. Peanut Butter M&M's. 4. Pretzels with whipped cream cheese. 5. Ice cream but seldom have any.
3. What smell always brings back some type of memory? Elaborate.
Maybe popcorn. My father managed a movie theater when I was young and I would go to the show a lot.
4. What's something you learned from the last book you read?
Honestly I am not a reader but I would love to be. I have read books over the years when we would go on vacation to Mammoth Lakes and stay in a cabin.
5. What's the next thing on your to-buy list? Will you make that purchase before the end of the year?
I need new shoes and new clothes. I am having trouble, for some reason, with my Toms and I own like 30 pairs of them. I have been wearing them for years. Also I have been wearing LuLaRoe tops for years and I need a change.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
James is into airplanes these days so I have Adam and Gabby pick one out and I send them to him from Amazon. They always send photos of his excitement. We also brought him a few of those small wooden planes that have been around forever. We bought some in Montana and he was so happy and then he colored it.

Deer really demolished my daughter's garden this year. She was so disappointed because it happened overnight. The groundhog are sneaky. They ate every one of my older daughter's pumpkins. Chipmunks too and you might not notice them. I'm sorry you won't get your watermelons. My grandsons love planes too, and helicopters especially. Have a great day!
I need to share James' pictures with Tom -- a fellow airplane nut!
Now I want to buy a can of Ro-Tel. Sooo good!
Oh yes Debby, those critters have been visiting my garden too. My beans, peas and carrot tops all eaten by rabbits.
Thank you for sharing James with us. :-)

I’ve never had any success with watermelons. No animal tracks means some insect infestation. They hide and then devour at night.
James looks happy with his airplanes!
We were visiting family in Little Rock this week and they told us about their produce disappearing as well. From tomatoes to cabbage - just gone overnight. They believe the deer are eating theirs as they are quite prevalent even in the city. Always love seeing your sweet James. Thanks for sharing him with us.
Awww, too bad on all of your produce disappearing. Critters were enjoying the buffet.
Love James' happy face for all of the airplanes. You are such a good Grandma..
Enjoy your day.
I'm finally getting a perm and haircut after 2 years of nothing but me cutting my hair myself. It's gotten to the point that I can't do a thing with it and my hubby is getting tired of hearing me fuss and complain everyday..haha

That is fun to send him the plane surprises.
I feel like I need some new shirts mainly, I don't really like clothes shopping for myself. I wear a lot of t shirts and want to get a few more casual tops.
James is looking cute. I used to play with toy airplanes too especially those wooden and paper ones. I even put together a model kit of the Mustang aircraft (WWII). Guess I should have been a pilot. 💙
We had to give up on an outside garden and build a greenhouse. We were willing to share, but the animals weren’t.
Awww! James' smile and excitement over his planes sets my heart to soaring, Debby. Blessings!
James sure is a cutie pie. Love that he loves those sweet little airplanes. OH, you may need an outdoor wildlife camera set up so you can see what is eating your garden produce! That is so disappointing! I know we had a cantaloupe once that was just ready to pick, and a RABBIT sat there and ate the whole thing!! Right through the rind! So, anything is possible! Oh POPCORN does smell so good. Now I wish I had some! I hope you have a wonderful week. I hope the "owl" scares away the varmint!!
I love to mix Rotel with a block of cream cheese and a bag of sausage crumbles. It makes a dip with the odd name of Brad's Dip. So delicious! James is just adorable!
I'm not much a reader either - but I sure would like to be. Maybe I would learn a few more things:) Such cute pictures of James!!
Oh, my goodness who or what is eating your watermelon and tomatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well you must be a salt person and not chocolate. lol. I like cheese too - but I am more of a sweet person. Although the past two weeks I have watched the sugar count. I have to do something.
So pretzels and cream cheese - who would have thought.
I am not surprised popcorn reminds you of your father.
And I would love to have new clothes too.
Last but not least - James is adorable - and I love his planes.
How sad that your watermelons and tomatoes have been eaten. The accomplishment is that you grew them. I once grew watermelon and mine burst wide open and the ants ate it. I share the like for Doritos. Cutie pie, James!! And the popcorn, I sometimes have it for dinner. :)
Hi Debby, that is sad how the critters are eating your watermelons. My feet have changed too. James looks so cute with all his planes! Enjoy the rest of your week!
How frustrating that is with the garden. The last time I tried to plant anything something ate the plants down to a stub the same night that I planted them. I haven't tried again since.
that is a shame about the garden produce. Myra mentioned the had an army of army worms come through that ate everything, include grass. and the crops in their town. odd there is no sign what did the damage
James looks so happy with his planesand I used to buy those wooden planes for my sons, and my brother had them when he was young, which means they have been around for more than 70plus years.
these days I over react to everything. like I just picked up the fly swat to kill a palmetto bugs on the kitchen floor and dropped the swatter, you would have thought I broke a dozen eggs, not dropped a swatter.
That is so weird about your garden and the happenings! James does look pleased with his gifts. Those airplanes gave you some good fun together. Thanks for visiting my hodgepodge. I'm late in coming around. Happy Thursday to you.
Sorry to hear about your garden produce being eaten. That must be so frustrating! My tomatoes are doing horribly but I have been pretty lucky in other areas and no critter seems to be eating anything. James is so adorable! Have a great weekend!
Hey Debby, been a bit since I have visited your blog here in blogland. I see that sweet looking young man is really growing. I need to make it a point to visit more, I love your question and answer spots. Oh my gosh, that would be such a pain to have something eating on those melons. Aren't they over ripe that caused the others to bust. Seems like I heard that someplace but I could be wrong. Hope you are well.
