James is 6 years old today.

GRANDMA AND PAPA LOVE YOU SO MUCH
He had a fun party on Saturday with a bunch of kids and adults. He was super happy. Tonight, on his birthday we are going out to dinner with Adam, Gabby and James to Benihana's. James is a big fan of shrimp and sushi.
He had a lot of presents to open.
These were his gifts from Aunt Amber and Uncle Dylan.
As you know, we were giving him a bicycle for his birthday. As excited as we expected him to be it didn't actually turn out that way. However, Gabby has sent pictures since and he is very happy with his new bike.
By the time he played in the bouncy house all day, opened a whole bunch of presents, ate and had his cake, along with more of the bouncy house, he was exhausted and definitely overwhelmed.
We realized on the way home that when we arrived early for the party, we should have given him his bike then when no one else was around. Live and learn.
Love this boy to the moon and back!
Thank you God for giving him to us.

What an amazing birthday for an amazing 6 year old boy! And a new bike IS a big deal! Like you said, he was overwhelmed and probably over stimulated too with all the goodies and kids around, etc., and even a six year old boy can be over-tired from all the fun! But now he can actually take his time and enjoy the new bike. It looks like he's pretty happy with it! It's beautiful! Happy Birthday, James!!!

You are so lucky to be close enough to celebrate with him. He is such a handsome fella!

Awe - I love that you thanked God for him. So sweet. He is a doll and has the cutest haircut. They always have it combed so nice. Great party and I understand about the bike. He sure got a lot of wonderful gifts.
