3. May 28th is National Hamburger Day...will you celebrate? How do you like yours? If you're not cooking at home is there a favorite place you like to go for a burger? Did you ever work in a fast food restaurant?
I doubt that I will celebrate. I am home alone, Mark is fishing in Canada until the June 2nd.
I like my hamburger with cheese, lettuce and tomato. Sometimes at Adam and Gabby's we get Red Robin which is good and I've been having their turkey burger which is great. Trying not to eat too much red meat for my cholesterol. We don't have one near us but I do like the Culver's burger.
No, I never worked in a fast food restaurant.
4. What are three scents you like?
I'm going to go with candles and that would be Balsam and Cedar at Christmas, Lemon and I have drizzle melts that are Roasted Espresso which I like a lot. However, I seldom burn candles.
5. What do you miss most about being a kid?
Playing outside with all of my friends. Those were the best of times. We could be gone all day.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Sunday Adam and Gabby invited me over. They were celebrating Gabby's sisters birthday. It was nice of them to have me since Mark is in Canada. I'm not enjoying my time alone and I really need to get motivated to work on decluttering some cabinets.
I have a large collection of candles and that's the cabinet I need to go through so I can bring Amber candles since she like to burn them.
Also on the medical front, the shots that I have waited 4 months to get in my back are not working very well and I am greatly disappointed.

It's good to have a place to regift your 'stuff'. I used to like Red Robin too. We had one in NJ but not here so I haven't been in a long time. I"m sorry the shots aren't helping Debby. Take care.
Oh, I love that dining room! Very pretty, and especially nice that it is a family heirloom set. That's what we have, but I don't have an actual dining room to house it all together, so it is scattered about in different rooms. Our dining area is a part of our great room/living room. I love the balsam and cedar scent too, but I really can't burn scented candles for more than a minute. The scents get too strong for me and I get a headache. But I like to get a whiff of the scent so I just set the candles around where they kind of give off a fragrance without being overpowering. I am sorry you are still having back pain even after the shots. That is so miserable. I pray the medication will "kick in" and start working soon. Sometimes it takes a little while. We don't have a Red Robin anywhere near us, and there is a Culver's in St. Augustine, but that is an hour away. They do have good food! I rarely order a hamburger when in a restaurant, but when we go to Chili's for lunch I might because they have a great deal on lunch meals. Hubby would eat one anywhere, anytime. LOL. I pray you will feel better soon. (((hugs)))
I don't know that I have a favorite room in my house. I do spend a lot of time in the Ann cave though.
My favorite burger is with mushrooms and swiss cheese. Even better if bacon is on it as well.
Now my mouth's watering for a Red Robin burger. That and their amazing tower of onion rings! On account of the pup's respiratory issues we don't burn candles -- but that roasted espresso sounds wonderful! That was pretty swell that Adam and Gabby included you in their gathering. I'm sorry the latest shots aren't working like you hoped; same thing with my Tom's hip.
Hi Debby,
I miss the ease of playing outside with my friends too. We could be gone all day too.
Sending you hugs and prayers.
Love, Carla
Hi Debby, I am sorry the shots are not working. PT has helped with my pain. I can't burn real candles because of my allergies. I use essential oils. I am trying to declutter too, but it can be so tiring. I hope you can find some relief with your pain.
It's so difficult being alone when we're used to having our husband home with us. Glad that your "kids" invited you over while Mark is in Canada. Sorry, though, that the shots didn't make a difference in your pain levels. Hope you can find something else that will work. Blessings!
I thought the shots were working.
I am glad the kids invited you over.
Gee, get to those candles and other things like that so you can take to Amber. It will help unload your house and help them build up! It is a great time to declutter.
I like the smell of lemon!
Red meat I am hearing is not good for you.
When we watch a movie - but Rick and Kelly play games on their phone. How can you do both? I have been guilty of falling asleep too.
Red Robin does do a good burger. So sorry to read that your shot isn't doing the good it should for you. That is frustrating. I'm glad you were able to visit with your kids while hubby is away. Take care.
I remember my father-in-law getting very annoyed with my mother-in-law if she fell asleep while watching tv with him too. He would pop his gum really loud & startle her, to get her to wake up. OMG! I always thought that was rude but secretly....it's funny at the same time. :-D ~Andrea xoxo
I guess I really don't have a favorite room in the house. I do like the coziness of our family room. That's where we spend the majority of our time.
The first thing I thought of is when people just get up and leave their trash on the table at a fast food restaurant. Then the next thing I thought of is when the young guys walk around with their pant half down. I always say to my self..pull up your pants. Whats so glamorous about their backside hang out???
We had hamburgers last night at Squeeze Burger. It was their 15 anniversary and they had a great deal for their customer appreciation day celebration. Yummm it was so good.
I love the scent of fresh baked bread, fresh homegrown lemons and freshly brewed coffee. I wish it tasted like it smells. I do love coffee though.
Good questions.
I'm sorry the shots aren't working for you..maybe given a bit more time they will.
Try to stay busy. It does make the time go more quickly.
Sue
Enjoyed your answers. I love candles too. I'm sorry the shots aren't working, especially because you waited so long.
