1. The Winter Olympics kick off on Friday, February 6th...on a scale of 1-10 how excited are you? (1= eh and 10=watching every event all day every day). What's your favorite Winter Olympic sporting event?
Maybe 6 or 7. I already have a few things set to record. I think I like the Figure Skating the best.
2. In other sporting news, the Superbowl (American football's championship game) will be played on Sunday, February 8th. So tell us...what's your superpower?
I will be watching the game. I actually watched more football this year than I have in the past. Because I haven't been too active I got really tired of watching my taped Hallmark movies.
I don't have a superpower that I can think of. However, I do mail out a lot of cards each year so that might be my superpower.
3. Are you a romantic?
I would say yes to that, however Mark is not at all so I am often very sad about that fact.
4. Blue cheese-yay or nay? How about feta? If you said yes to one or both, what's a dish you like that calls for one of these?
I'm going to say no to both of those. I might eat some at someone's house but I don't buy them.
5. What's more important-doing what you love or loving what you do?
I'm going to go with doing what you love but I haven't been doing much of either of those lately.
6. Insert your own random thoughts here.
We were blessed over the weekend to watch James for several hours. We played Bunko, Candyland and a match the pieces game.
He wasn't having any luck at Bunko which upset him. I had showed you the ring that he had bought for me at school for Christmas and I wear it when we go there and it has brought me good luck playing Bunko.
So I took it off because he was mad. It was so funny, he was rubbing the ring on the dice before he rolled them but it wasn't working for him. However he did very well at the other games.
I also brought him over a new pair of pj's. He is really into the soccer player Messi so that made him happy. This picture shows him holding a magic wand. He was showing us some magic tricks.

James is getting so tall and handsome, and I love his pj's and the magic wand! It's great that you have such fun together. You are blessed to be so close to him during these growing up years...they go by way too fast!
I do hope and pray that this year will be a year of healing and return to doing the things you enjoy kind of year! And yes, sending out a lot of cards is a super power! I know the recipients enjoy receiving them. It's becoming a lot art!
I hope you have a blessed and wonderful week.
I do enjoy watching the ice skating, Debby. James just gets more handsome every day! Hope you have a blessed day, my friend.
I'm glad you had time with James. My middle grandson is not a fan of 'not winning' lol. We're teaching him to be a gracious loser. He is super competitive, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but he takes losing hard. Have a nice day Debby!
it is a good thing for them to lose, teaches them life is not always perfect or a win and how to win without getting angry. he looks so cute in the PJs. I will watch the figure skating, I recorded all of it and Bob will watch parts of what he likes and fast forward. a way for him to entertain himself. I loved watching the USA skating the past few weeks and have my favorites to watch. I also recorded the super bowl for bob the next day. he doesn't care about this one because he is not a fan of either team. he will watch it, and fast forward through the commercials which is the only thing I would watch and certainly NOT bad bunny whomever he is.
