No doubt you are tired of reading about my health. Actually I am very tired of dealing with it. I did have my ankle done on Wednesday at the hospital.
I had my Ankle Debridement.
Hopefully it will help for a while so I don't have to have the ankle fusion which is not fun at all. I'm also going to check into an ankle replacement which my doctor doesn't do.
However he said he got out a lot of debris and that my bones looked good.
I have to admit that I haven't had any procedures at the hospital in a long time where they put you out. It's kinda cool that you go under and then you wake up later.
I've been depressed. I want my life back. Still having issues with my lungs also. I should never have gotten on Dupixent.
I believe I told you about my visit to the hospital a few weeks ago for my left leg. From my knee up to my thigh I have had terrible pain. They found nothing and it seems as though it is sciatica. So I'm still dealing with that too. I've started exercising for it and Lidocaine patches seem to help.
I see my doctor on the 8th and he will take off the bandage. Right now I am in some pain but that is expected.
The hardest thing for me with these issues is that I can't do all the housework I need to do. Mark keeps telling me to get a maid but I don't want one. I want to be able to take care of my house by myself.
Thank you for listening. I will share more when I know more. I do appreciate all the prayers you have been giving to me. You guys are awesome.
Love you guys,
Debby

I'm so sorry about all your health issues. I can totally understand why you've had enough. Hopefully the ankle debridement will help and you won't have to go through anything else with that.
I think you should listen to Mark and get a maid, Debby, even if it's just for a while until you're feeling much better. We have a service that comes once a month and it's been extremely helpful. Know I say prayers for you every day, my friend, and I'm glad for this update. Blessings!
Oh Debby, I am so hoping this will work and you will not have to have further ankle procedures.
I understand about the maid also. I am kind of the same.
Hi Debbie, I wrote about my health issue at my blog today. I totally understand how you feel. I have lower back pain and I get numbness. PT has helped. I would follow Mark’s advice and get a maid. That would free you up to exercise. I hope your ankle recovers quickly! I will keep you in prayer.
Maybe a housekeeper for just until you're better? I've got a good feeling your ankle will feel so much better after healing.
Our health affects so much of our lives: physically, mentally and emotionally! I'm sorry you're dealing with so much. Praying your body returns to the way it was made to be and you move into a long season of good health.
I would have a housekeeper in a minute if I had the resources. Even for just awhile.
I have the ankle debridement works for quite a while. I am sorry about all your pain issues.
I say prayers for you too.
Love, sandie
Me, too ... what Sandie just said. Then again, I'd be so nervous with a stranger looking at and touching my "stuff." Prayers continue!
OH, Debby, I do hope this procedure on the ankle will really help it to feel better for a long time. And I pray for the sciatica issue too. Probably reacting to the problems with the ankle, and more pressure was put on the lower back/nerves. Maybe once the ankle is healed better your back/thigh will feel better too. Meanwhile, I would recommend the housekeeper temporarily too... let her come and take care of weekly issues so you don't have to worry about the bathrooms and dust and vacuuming. I would LOVE to have a housekeeper take care of those items if I could afford to. My back and shoulders have issues too and when I try to do housework, I always suffer for a few days afterwards. Hubby tries to help, but he has no real clue as to how to thoroughly clean something, so that causes me more frustration knowing it's only half done. Truly, if I had the money, that would definitely be something I would do! For you, it would relieve your mind and you could concentrate on getting well! Saying an extra prayer for you as you recover and also deal with the other issues. (((HUGS)))
I am sorry, my friend. My husband had sciatica, and he was in so much pain. Prayers for your peace and healing.
I'm so sorry! Maybe you could compromise and get some outside, but not full-time -- help? Our apartment doesn't need much, so I have Merry Maids come every two weeks. There are two of them and they usually take less than an hour. They're expensive, but I'm amazed at how much of a difference it makes.
You would need more help, but it might help a lot. Anyway, I continue to pray for you, And don't worry about writing about your health. It's such a big part of your life and we appreciate your sharing. ❤️
Health issues are depressing and annoying as we all would rather be in good health
Complain away all you want - this is your blog! I'm tired of a crumbling body, too. Unfortunately you have lots of company. Too bad we can't get together in person for a coffee and a complaining party that would end up in laughs - that would certainly help all of us!!!
Hi Debby,
I am praying for your recovery.
And that NO new problems arise!!!
Love, Carla
