I think I prefer even numbers. Even is calming to me.
2. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being "not at all" and 10 being Carly Simon-worthy, how vain are you?
If you could see me now I am looking like a 1. Honestly I'm about a 4.
3. Among these Irish stereotypes, with which do you identify most closely? Talkative, Proud, Inquisitive, Love to party, Hot-tempered
Talkative works pretty good for me.

I think I am pretty green. I recycle and try to use green products in my home and on my body.
9. What is your favorite song this week?
Black Eyed Peas "Tonight's gonna be a good night"
10. You are walking along and see a coin on the ground. What denomination does it have to be before you will stop to pick it up?
Pennies are good with me. Each time I say to myself "In God We Trust" and that is why I pick them up!

I like even numbers too! I remember wanting my kids to be born on an even numbered days and they were! The 20th and the 28th :-) Though by the end I didn't really care anymore and just wanted them out ;-)
Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep was my number one (in the UK). It really chirped me up!

I pick up pennies too! Hey, you never know, it could be a valuable coin!
I'm in Southern California too. I'm glad it has been raining because without it I'd have know idea it is "winter"!
i tend toward the gullible side too.. can't help it. i assume everyone is telling the truth.. not always the case!!
have a lovely day!
How fun to get to know you better. I love the reason you pick up pennies. I'll repeat the same thing next time I pick one up.
Enjoyed all your answers. I chuckled at #11...how funny! You are right, our answers were quite similar. I loved your favorite post, I went back and read it, very moving! Thanks for sharing!
until next time... nel
There seems to be a little story that goes along with #10. But I don't remember all of it. But as you said it was to remind us that In God we trust.
"Good Lovin" by The Young Rascals was #1 song the day that I was born. I have never heard if it though. :)

You're rating yourself a 1 and a 4 on a good day??? I don't believe it! Your personality alone is a 10 and your heart is even higher than that!
~ I think I like odd numbers because I am a bit odd myself. My dad had a favorite number of 47... don't know where that came from, but I find I use it all the time too.
~ Being of Irish decent, I find that my best trait is that of being inquisitive.
~ I pick up pennies, too... I figure you get enough of them, you can buy a cup of coffee... :-)
~ You know, I see the same thing you do when I look out my window, just substitute the name "Nano" for "Skye". That answer made me laugh.
~ Turn! Turn! Turn! by The Byrds (love that song) was #1 the day I was born.
Have a fabulous day!!
I actually tend to pick up the pennies and leave the bigger coins. Paper money I pick up in an instant! and then of course look around to see if anyone is looking for their lost loot :) I dropped a $50 bill once and a guy walking behind me started hollering at me that I was dropping cash. So I always assume there is someone just as clueless as me dropping money. :)
