What are your two favorite restaurants?
I would have to say the Westside Tavern in Los Angeles. That is where I fell in love with Risotto and their Warm Sticky Toffee Cake Mascarpone Cream. Yum!
The next one would be Mario's Place in Riverside, CA. We usually go there for a Christmas party each year from my husbands office. They have risotto too and delicious steaks.
These would be my two favorite here in California. My most favorites would be in Chicago!

Interesting choices and not in the same area at all. I grew up in Riverside CA but if there had been a Mario's I would not have know it back then. Sounds like you like risotto. Will you be attending the Christmas party at Mario's this year? Get some pics if you do.

My favaorites are not here in this town. I have so many favorites its hard to pick just two but Cantlers Crab House in Annapolis would be one and Bawarchis Indian restaurant in our little village in England would definitely be in my top 5 : )

Oh, goodness that looks so good! We're trying to diet and that didn't help! :) I guess the good thing is that I can't actually eat it!

I'm going to have to try Mario's since it's pretty close for us over driving into LA. We love risotto after one too many viewings of Hell's Kitchen and wondering just why do they keep making it. It must taste good right, yummy delicious and can't wait!

That sticky toffe cake thing looks divine!!! That is my favorite part of Hell's Kitchen, Ramsey gets so mad when someone messes up that Risotto.
Risotto is one of my absolute favorite dishes!!! Honeybunny just recently added it to his repertoire but I can't convince him to cook it just a tad longer - he's thinking rice ;-)
Oh man I remember you talking about this before and I even saved a recipe to make it that time. Reminds me I need to make it :)

Some of my favorite restaurants are in Chicago, too. Gino's Pizza is high on that list :0)
