CiCi said...: One year my kids and I kept the tree up till March. I say it is a personal preference; no rules about when the tree has to go up or be taken down. You were not feeling well, but the tree was up for you to enjoy.

Trish said...: I now take my tree down first, then go on to everything else. I still have my fireplace mantle decorated since it is more Wintry than Christmas. Sometimes we just need a little me time and it's okay...

My neighbors across the street still have their tree up. We can see it through the window, and it's nice and cheery on our cold and dark wintery days.
