1. George Washington-Abraham Lincoln-Thomas Jefferson...who would you most like to meet and why?
Honestly I don't have any desire to meet any of them.
2. What's your favorite chain restaurant?
Are you talking fast food? I hardly ever do fast food. I do like Red Robin a lot!
3. I spied this question on the Bears at Home blog last week and she gave me permission to steal borrow it: When you look back on your life, do you imagine you'll think about the goals you failed to meet with regret? Or will you look at what you accomplished and say: it was good?
I didn't set a lot of goals for myself. I wanted to be a wife and mother, which I achieved. I only have a few regrets but they can't be changed so I would say "it was good!"
4. Grapefruit-take 'em or leave 'em? Given the choice between an orange and a grapefruit which would you choose? Would you prefer it served as is or squeezed into juice?
Grapefruits are fine but I seldom buy them. I would pick an orange. Well if someone will give it to me all peeled that would be great otherwise I will take the juice.
5. When was the last time you cleaned out a closet? Is there a closet in your home that currently needs cleaning? What are you waiting for?
It been about two years and yes our bedroom closet needs cleaning. What am I waiting for?: The Fairies to come at night and do it while I'm asleep.
6. You get to have lunch with three famous people...who would you like to see round your table?
Princess Diana, John Travolta and Bill Clinton.
7. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your ability to parallel park?
I would be a 1. Can't do it, never could, however back in Illinois in the 60's I had to do it to get my license so I guess I did it once.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Something really fun for me happened on Sunday. For some reason when I turned on my computer I happened to glance at the People.com Latest News widget that is on my Google home page and noticed an article about awards being given at the BAFTA Awards. Well I had no clue about these awards. (I'm sure Joyce knows about these) They are the British Academy of Film & Television Arts Awards. I immediately went to my channel guide and went to see if I could find them on BBC. I did! I enjoyed this show so much. It was like watching our own Academy Awards and all our stars were there. You can see who their nominations were here. The Artist took the most awards and I totally agree. I can't wait to own that movie! Stephen Fry was the host and I found him to be very amusing.

I'm with you on the parking thing! Glad you liked the Brittish Awards show. Great answers.
I wish I had known they were on! I LOVE BBC America!
I wish I had known. I took a class in BBC in college and loved it. I love British humor.
I'm not a big burger fan, but when I get a hankering for a burger, I'll always choose Red Robin. ;-)
I like your comment about regrets ... about how they can't be changed. I sometimes find myself dwelling on regrets ... I need to remind myself that they cannot be changed, that I can learn from them, and that I need to move on! ;-)
I wish fairies would come clean up my downstairs closet. How nice would that be?
And I never really liked grapefruit until I got pregnant this second time!
I love Red Robin! Even though it's wayyy too much food for me! Oh, yes, I do manage to choke it down....which is why I've only eaten there twice!
I'm waiting for those same fairies! Where are they???
I like British humor too
We loved Red Robin when we lived in NC...haven't seen one since!
I need to clean closets but always put them off. I just purchased a grapefruit as I haven't had them in years. I still don't like them.
I've been waiting for those cleaning fairies too but they just keep me waiting!
I've been waiting for those cleaning fairies too but they just keep me waiting!
I think your chosen lunch dates would make for some interesting conversation!
I love Stephen Fry! He is brilliant plus he's hilarious. I could use a fairy to come clean out my frig right about now...how does it get so icky?
Right with you on parallel parking.
Great answers. While I don't dislike grapefruit, I rarely eat them. They're just not my fav.
Blessings to you Debby. For my closet it has not seen day light in over ten years. Scary.
Oh, I am a big fan of Abraham Lincoln! I read a book on his life just a couple of months ago. And I must say he was quite a man of humility and strength. We could use an Abraham Lincoln right about now. And I am a terrible parallel parker! I avoid it at all costs. Lol
Blessings my friend!
I want to see The Artist, but I guess I'll need to rent it. It's not in the theaters anymore. :(
I have closets in similar condition.
It seems like quite a few people are waiting for the closet fairy to visit. LOL
I almost answered number 1 the same way you did :)
I like your choice for lunch companions. I'm not a fan of grapefruit.
"The Fairies to come at night and do it while I'm asleep." Ha ha ha ha! You and me both.
I love oranges...but only the navel type....I don't like the ones with seeds..nice post
Could you put me on the list for closet cleaning when the fairy cleaner comes by. Because I am susre that's the only my closet is going to get cleaned.
I went to Libertyville in Illinois - they did not make you parallel park for the driving test! lol
sandie
Red Robin is very good. I love their fries! (Which why it's good that I don't go often!)
Darned closet fairies! I finally gave up on them, but I keep hoping once I get it started, they'll finish? Maybe??
Grrrrr closets.... I hope to tackle them next week when I am off and the Littles are in preschool...
Sounds like a fun awards show! I still haven't seen The Artist though. I guess I'll have to get it when it's on Netflix!
I am NOT a grapefruit fan! I don't love sour things. Candy should be chocolate and very sweet.
Sandy
My bedroom closet is a disaster!
I can parallel park- though my husband can't!
What a fun thing to watch on Sunday!
Oh man parallel parking and me so not friends ... lol
I love the table guest good picks!
Testing for word verification.
You have blog awards at The Chronicles of Nani!

I can't parallel park either...and I didn't have to for my license test! Whenever I go somewhere with parallel parking, I make someone else drive or make someone come park my car LOL
I learned a bunch about George Washington in a church series a few years back and that's who I would like to meet. His faith was amazing and there were confirmed accounts of him being shot but not hurt. God had his hand on him for sure.
