On April 4th I went to see Get A Job. This is one of those movies that I call a teen movie. (However they are not teenagers)
There are a lot of younger actors that I like so I usually follow the movies they make. This movie had Anna Kendrick and Miles Teller. It was entertaining and enjoyed it.
"Life after college graduation is not exactly going as planned for Will and Jillian who find themselves lost in a sea of increasingly strange jobs. But with help from their family, friends and coworkers they soon discover that the most important (and hilarious) adventures are the ones that we don't see coming."
I actually saw two movies that day, two different theaters which are about a mile apart from each other. I went to see Hello, My Name Is Doris. Well who doesn't like Sally Field's? This movie was cute, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
"A self-help seminar inspires a sixty-something woman to romantically pursue her younger co-worker."
On Saturday Mark and I went to see Criminal with Kevin Costner. Wow, we were blown away with this movie. We both loved it! Interesting story and action packed.
"In a last-ditch effort to stop a diabolical plot, a dead CIA operative's memories, secrets, and skills are implanted into a death-row inmate in hopes the he will complete the operative's mission."
DVD's from Netflix
Recently I had the opportunity to watch Straight Outta Compton, Legend and Creed on DVD from Netflix. I didn't see these movies at the show. I'm going to say that I enjoyed each one of them for different reasons. I was extremely impressed with Straight Outta Compton!!!
"The group NWA emerges from the mean streets of Compton in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes Hip Hop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood."
"The film tells the story of the identical twin gangsters Reggie and Ronnie Kray, two of the most notorious criminals in British history, and their organised crime empire in the East End of London during the 1960s."
"The former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa serves as a trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed."

Isn't Sally Fields a treasure? Like that old saying goes, she could act her way out of a paper bag!
The Harkins' movie tickets I got as a holiday door prize are burning a hole in my pocketbook ... I'm thinking Criminal is a must-see.
"Hello My Name is Doris" looks like something I would enjoy! Sounds like you've had a nice movie month in April. :)
