It has been 15 days since I've left the house and I can tell you that other than showering, getting dressed, doing laundry or eating I haven't accomplished anything else.
Okay I got a few birthday cards in the mail, finally emptied my suitcase from my trip to Florida, washed dishes, feed Skye and played with her but my word PUSH for the year isn't working very well for me.......
I did however push myself to make one phone call.....hooray! I am going to get a haircut today since I have that Bucket List Trip in two weeks and obviously we could use some things from the store.
Mark has been in the UK since last Saturday and will be home tomorrow afternoon. I'm looking forward to that. Actually he took a few days off before he left, one to go shooting and one day for us to go somewhere and do something but I declined.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend and sending me some mojo would be greatly appreciated.....

Mojo coming over as we speak!
Keep up the good humour and have a lovely weekend.
This sounds so like me...I went two weeks without driving my car and a week and a half without going out at all....I was a little down and most days didn't do much of anything. The laundry did get done and food prepared....the little sign on this post fits me so well.
Hope you feel better soon.

I am really worried, if you did not go out of the house for 15 days that means you have not been to see 10 shows, which is about what you see in 15 days. oh my. hope you are not sick... glad you are getting out to get a hair cut and hope all is well
Sorry to hear this, but at he same time it could be what you need. I sometimes wish for time alone. I know I wouldn't want it that way all the time. Keep getting out and enjoying your trips.
i hope 'you' return soon. :)
Personally, I think it would be heaven to stay put for 15 days :) But I know what you mean, need to get out there and get some things done. Schedule something minor every day that you need to get out and do to get yourself back out "among the living."
betty
Take care of yourself. You have been running around and going out for awhile now - maybe a little rest is okay - a big rest - no. Hugs.
Hope your spirits continue to come back and you get out thre in the world again. Some times I dream of time at home like that but I know that it will never happen

Staying home and catching up is not a bad thing. You will be hustling around soon enough.
I think I know what-cha mean about your "word for the year."
Recently, I erased mine (OPTIMISTIC) from my page. It just felt burdensome ..... and more so, like I was being rebuked.
Gosh, I wish we lived closer to one another. I'd whisk you off to a wine bar and ply you with questions about this Bucket List trip! :)
I hope your mojo returns soon and you enjoy being out and about.
Your mojo is coming back.... that new haircut will spice you up and make you feel fabulous!!!
I'm a homebody, it's quite easy for me to never leave the house. If I didn't have kids I could see myself staying home ALL the time. I do however try to do things like exercise and meditate while I'm at home so it still feels like I am "doing" and accomplishing things that are good-ish for my health. Sometimes I even just put on my headphones and listen to a book on Audible while I walk up and down my hallway for 20 minutes. It's still movement and good for me.
Good for you to give yourself permission to simply "be".
Perhaps more of us need to learn from your example.
Busy-ness for the sake of busy-ness isn't always a good thing.
Your mojo will return when the time is right.
I can't imagine not leaving my house for 15 days. How did you get groceries? On the other hand, I'd love to have 15 days off to just be at home.
I can relate Debby. Some days I am happy just to get out of bed. ツ
Hope you've got a little of your mojo back today Debby! Sometimes after a big trip (like yours to FL) you need to lay low and recoup. I will add you to my prayers today...go somewhere, even if its the grocery store. Small steps! Thinking of you xo
So have been there! HUGS
