Volume 280
Thank you Joyce....
1. What's changed in your life, home, or community since your last birthday?
Our son moved in with us after a sad break-up in early January. He is currently dating a lovely girl who we recently met.
2. September is Classical Music Month. Do you like/listen to classical music? If so what's a favorite piece and/or who is a favorite composer?
I don't listen very often but I know there are a few that I love. I am going to go with Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major.
3. Besides The Bible, what's a book that has positively changed your life, relationships, career, or perspective? How so?
I don't think I have one.
4. I read (here) these ten hobbies will make you smarter...play a musical instrument, read voraciously, meditate regularly, work out your brain (puzzles, sudoku, board games, etc), exercise often, learn a new language, write your feelings down (blog, journal, just write), travel to new places, cook different kinds of meals, participate in sports actively
Are any on this list your current hobbies? Which hobby on the list would you be most inclined to try?
Blogging! I would like to try Meditation.
5. What sports traditions does your family have?
We don't have anything physical that we do. They watch football.....I'm not into it but I will watch sometimes. I do love Super Bowl Sunday, that's my tradition!
6. In a few words, weigh in on the current football /National Anthem brouhaha. Keep it family friendly please.
He should have stood for the National Anthem, they all should. It has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter!!!
7. Where do you have loads of patience, and where do you most lack patience?
I actually have patience in most things except I hate waiting for water to boil or toast to pop up!
8. Insert your own random thought here.

I'm so glad your son is doing well : ) Hope you're feeling good too. Enjoy your day Debby!
so glad adam is moving forward. :)
love that last quote a lot and agree with it. glad to hear Adam is moving on with his life. it has only been a few days since my birthday so not much has changed. I am with you on water boiling and toasters. making cheese toast in the toaster oven seems to take all day. does classic country count as classical? if not I have none.
Happy to hear #1 and agree with #6!! Have a great day!
It is good to hear Adam is doing well. I like tge quote yiu shared here. Can yoi believe September is almost over?

So glad Adam is dating! Maggie is 'not' dating a nice guy. Whatever that means. LOL Meditation is great! IF you can keep your mind from wandering. Which I cannot. :) Have a great day!
Glad to hear that Adam is dating. Loved your responses. Hope your week is awesome.
Yep, waiting for water to boil is on my list too! LOL Have a great week,

Wow, that poster at the end is right on, isn't it! I sure hope you get help with your knee from the orthopedic specialist. It's hard to live with constant pain. I pray that you'll be able to get relief - soon! Hope you have a good rest of the week, Debby. xo
Ha, come to think of it I hate waiting for water to boil and toast to toast....
It's fun to see other answers on these hodgepodges.
Hope you have a good end to the week!
Love your answers. So how is Adam doing these days?
Good to hear that your son is dating someone. It's good to know that he's healing. I'm not going to list the books that have influenced my life (too many!!), but I'll list my favorite authors. Their writing has made a great impact on my life, and particularly in my faith journey. They are - C.S. Lewis, Philip Yancey, and John Eldredge.
GOD BLESS!
Good music choice :) Boiling water is the worst, it seems to take forever! Have a great week :)
So glad to hear Adam's found him a new love! :)
Great quote box today!
I am so happy for Adam. :-) I have been praying for him.
I appreciate your random.
Yes to #6!
I do love that last quote.
Wishing the best for Adam as he moves forward.
Have a lovely day.
I'm glad to hear your son is doing well :-)
My beloved SWMBO don't argue about our political differences with any anger. We make our best case and we agree to disagree. We love each other too much to let the political stuff come between us. I love doing Word Jumbles and Crossword Puzzles. Thanks for visiting my blog page and for leaving a comment. Have a great rest of the week.
Love #8 Debby.
