1. Thursday (September 22) is the first official day of autumn in this part of the world...how will you welcome the season? I know some of you have been celebrating way too early, but it's official now so permission granted. House Beautiful recently listed ten ways to make your home smell like fall (you can read the list here) What's a scent you love this time of year and how will you add it to your home?
I don't have any specific plans other than going to bowling. I actually use a candle melt that is Coffee that I use almost all year. Apple can be a nice candle at this time of year and after Thanksgiving it will be Pine.
2. Apple pie or pumpkin pie? Apple cake or pumpkin bread? Warm apple cider or a pumpkin spice latte?
I pick pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread with some warm apple cider. Apple season is coming and hope to get to the orchards for some Rome Beauty apples. They consider them to be a baking apple but we love to eat them as is.

No I do not suffer from an afternoon slump.

5. Are you a people pleaser? If you said yes, do you think that's a good or bad thing? If you said no, do you wish you were more of a people pleaser?
Guilty as charged! It is not necessarily a good thing when you are raising children. Example: When Amber would get punished with no TV I would tape her favorite shows so she wouldn't have to miss them.
6. The seasons are a-changin'...share a favorite song relating in some way to change (not necessarily seasonal change, it could be change of any kind).
When Joyce asks a question like this I usually do a search. I have two today that I like. California Dreamin' Mamas & The Papas and Elvis Presley Snowbird.
7. What do you wish would never change?
I have so many things floating through my mind. Pictures, so many people just have photos on their phone. I love printed photos. Books, I love seeing a book shelf filled with them. I myself get books for my Kindle app on my phone/computer but it's not the same as holding one in your hand. The innocence of a child, the world makes them grow up too fast.

Summer is my favorite season but I do love the colors and scents of autumn. One of my favorite scents is a yankee candle scent Macintosh apple. I've always like anything cinnamon scented too.
I don't like 4 letter words either....lol
California Dreamin' - Love this song, we have it on our background music collection that plays while we are working around the house. Good choice!

Oh i never thought of California Dreamin'. I still love the sound of The Mamas and Papas. I love printed photos too, but am so guilty about never getting around printing them.
I'm with you 100% on that last one four letter words all of those words are me. Pumpkin pie pumpkin bread and cider would be my choice. What I would like to not change as my husband age and I am watching him age and I hate it even more than watching me age.
I prefer photo prints and "real" books, too. :)
I am a big Elvis fan, but I don't think I've ever heard of "Snowbird" until now. Thanks for sharing it. That is a priceless photo of him with his mama and daddy.

Fall is my favorite season but I wish we would get some fall weather. It seems we get less and less each year. Winter is about to move from second to first if this keeps up. LOL Good point about the innocence of children. They really do lose that innocence too soon. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I SO agree with your #7 thoughts. Even though I have digital photos and books, I still love printed photographs and books that have real pages. I like a paper copy of everything!

I loved the Mamas and the Papas. Just played the song - one of my all time favorites. Hard to believe that Michelle is the only one left.
I don't like four letter words either. Like P words - pumpkin - pumpkin bread, and people pleaser too! Have fun bowling. Tomorrow is bible study for me.

I love all kinds of apples for eating, and enjoy baking with apples too. It's a busy season for us right now, but I hope to get to the orchard before they're all gone. I try to eat an apple every day. A trainer friend of mine said it's a good habit : )
Our apples actually came in about the end of August. We have Gala trees in the yard and Honey Bear peeled, cut up and froze them for later.

Loved the Mamas and the Papas and also your choice of pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie. I'm with you on your answer about books and photos. I enjoy them in my phone, but love to look through albums. And I have so many books on kindle, but it isn't the same as holding a book and looking through the bookshelf for something to read. That's sweet that you taped the shows for your daughter.

I am a people pleaser and it is driving me crazy lately....
Well, we are still enjoying a bit of summer on our holiday and we hopefully will until we have returned to our normal lives.
I like to cook and bake, especially if it is to share with other people.
