1. Is March coming in like a lion where you live? Aslan, Simba, Elsa, The Cowardly Lion...your favorite 'famous' lion?
I'm going to say Elsa because I'm not sure about the other lion's. We are supposed to be a high of 57 today with rain. Now I know 57 isn't cold like Elsa and I'm sure it sounds good to a lot of you but that's a pretty cool day temperature here for us.
2. In what way do you 'march to the beat of your own drum'?
I'm drawing a blank.
3. What item that you don't have already, would you most like to own? Any chance of that happening soon?
Well there is always something that I want but I have too much already that I need to get rid of. That doesn't mean I don't buy things. I would definitely like to own a smaller house and no that is not happening anytime soon.
4. March is National Flour Month...are you a baker? Cookies-cakes-or pies...your favorite sweet treat to bake? What's the last non-sweet thing you made that called for flour?
I use to bake a lot. Not so much anymore except around Christmas. Mainly because we don't need to eat it!
Mark has been enjoying making bread the last few years since he retired. He also just made a pepperoni bread which tastes just like the one we get in Carlsbad, CA. Not healthy at all!!!
5. There are 31 days in the month of March...where were you and what were you doing when you were 31? If you haven't hit that milestone yet, then tell us where you were and what you were doing 31 months ago? (if math is not your thing, that would be August 3, 2018)
Seriously?? I was living in Western Springs, IL. My mom died in March 39 years ago and nine months later my husband walked out on me.
Amber was 10 months old when my mom passed and Adam was 3 years old. So let's just say it wasn't a good time for me.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I do need to get back on the treadmill because that will help build my lungs back up. Even at the lowest speed, even if it's just 5 minutes. I did learn this from Pulmonary Therapy back in 2019.
I did talk to my pulmonary doctor last Wednesday and we will do a lung function test and maybe a new medication but something else came up the day before I talked with him so he wanted to wait. (That would be the cardiologist)
My primary doctor sent paperwork from the hospital with a referral for a cardiologist because they found calcium buildup in my arteries. Since I already have a cardiologist I called and got in last Thursday. He doesn't believe it's my heart. However we are going to do a angiogram to ease my mind. It hasn't been scheduled yet.
Having COPD I always believe it's my lungs however shortness of breath can come from your heart too. When Mark had his stents a year and a half ago he went in because he had shortness of breath. I'm just praying this isn't my new COPD normal because it really sucks.

I'm sorry to hear you are still not well. I hope they can figure out what is causing your shortness of breath.
James sure is a cutie even with his PBJ face
I pray they can help you with your health.
James is adorable! Thank you for sharing your pictures.
Have a nice day.

I'm sorry you're still having such a hard time. I hope you find answers and a suitable treatment soon. My f-i-l had COPD and I know the treadmill was so good for him. I hope you're able to handle it soon. I'm glad James is a bright spot in your days right now. Take care.
Doggone it, Debby, I sure do wish you were feeling better. You'd better make sure to get the virus vaccine, honey. If you got COVID, I fear how you would fare. Love you~ Andrea xoxo
I'm sorry to hear you are still having the shortness of breath. I have issues with that too, it can be debilitating. I hope they figure out what's going on and are able to get you all fixed up soon.
Oh no Debby, I’m sorry you are still short of breath. I sure pray you get better soon!
31 was not a good year for me so I won't put the details here my kids were 8 and 10 that year and I vividly remember that year. Kind of like your 31-year. I don't know any of the Lions and we're coming in with blazing temperatures for the past 4 days up in the high 80s and now today we're cool again we woke up to 70 and our highest 73 and a cold front is on the way of course it's like you're cold front High fifties
I am sorry you are having such health issues. I can imagine how frustrating that is, not to mention concerning. Praying they can get to the bottom of it and find a way to help you feel better. That sweet grandson sure looks like a sweetheart! I know seeing him must really make you happy. It would me. Our only grandson is now 21, and we haven't seen him for a couple of years since he lives in Maine. I sure would love to give him a hug. So enjoy that sweet boy while you can. They grow up way too soon. Sending you (((hugs))) and prayers.
I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I said a prayer for you, I hope you find the answers you need soon.
I’m so sorry about your health problems. Several of my friends have COPD so don’t exercise, and I didn’t know that a treadmill could help. I’m religious about exercise...housework not so much. Fingers crossed the docs can help.
I'm so sorry Debby. Hoping you feel better soon. James is still adorable as ever!
So sorry that you are going through all of this. I hope that between your pulmonologist and cardiologist you will be feeling much better very soon.
Debby, I'm SO sorry you're having to jump through more hoops. Lifting prayers! That bread looks amazing, and James seems to be getting cuter every week!
1. Is March coming in like a lion where you live? Right now all is well. Sunshine today, tad cooler but ours is more like a sheep. My fave lion is the last you names....I love OZ.
2. In what way do you 'march to the beat of your own drum'?
I think I do that with just being me...not being someone I am not to impress anyone. For my thoughts, my creativity and laughter.
3. What item that you don't have already, would you most like to own? Any chance of that happening soon? the first thought coming to mind is a new mower! haha....hoping that happens in the next few weeks.
4. March is National Flour Month...are you a baker? Cookies-cakes-or pies...your favorite sweet treat to bake? What's the last non-sweet thing you made that called for flour?
yes, I am a baker. Much rather bake then cook a meal. I make cookies, cakes but I really like making bread.
5. There are 31 days in the month of March...where were you and what were you doing when you were 31? If you haven't hit that milestone yet, then tell us where you were and what you were doing 31 months ago? (if math is not your thing, that would be August 3, 2018)
haha....I was working, being a mom and doing what moms do. Cleaning, taxi for the kids, breaking up fights, cooking, laundry....lol

My random thought right now is that I am loving the sun coming through the window right now...and one more, I gotta get off from here and go to the basement to take blankets out of the washer.
Shortness of breath has to be something hard to deal with. Sorry that you have to live with that. Hope the angiogram shows that your heart is okay. I was also sorry to read about the trauma you endured at 31. That little James is a bright spot for sure. Glad you could see him.
James is adorable! He so enjoyed those M and M's! I'm glad there is a plan going on to try to figure out your health to be feelings better Debby! Hopefully something will show up that is treatable with the right combination of medicine so you can finally be on the road to feeling better! We adopted son when I was 31 years old so it was a fun but exhausting year with a newborn!

Hi,
Sending hugs Debby, I do hope you will find answers and feel better.
I am sorry about age 31.. you were brave and sharing it with us makes you brave too, it is not easy to dig up the past.
Thank you for sharing James.
xx oo
Carla
I hope you will soon be feeling better. Yes, just 5 minutes on the treadmill daily can help a lot.
That happy PB M&Ms smile is just adorable!
I actually answered #1 wrong. I read it wrong! I do however like Elsa and I love the Cowardly Lion too.
Nothing worse than not quite knowing what is wrong with you. Hopefully they will find out soon.
I think my lion would be Loeki (pronounce Looky), who is a Dutch lion that was used in commercial breaks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loeki_de_Leeuw
I am sorry you have health concerns and health frustrations. I truly hope things will get resolved.
James is adorable.
I think in the first one - the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz is my favorite - he wants to be good and strong. lol
Hi, Debby! That pepperoni bread looks delish! James is as cute as ever!! Praying for you🙏🙏
Oh oh...let's hope this isn't anything with the heart. I do know some of my heart meds CAUSE shortness of breath...it's a side effect. Always something concerning health issues. I hope soon that you can find the help & ease the anxieties.
Sorry about your past too...things happen for a reason, but never eases the pain.
August 3rd, 2018 - that was two days after I'd found out to my horror that I would have to have chemo, and four days before I had my reconstruction surgery. Good times.
Gracious Debby, sure hoping you can get some answers soon, so you can not only breathe easier, but feel better overall. James is adorable even with a face covered in chocolate.
