2 July 29th is International Day of the Tiger. Besides the wild animal itself, when you hear the word tiger what's the first person-place-thing-whatever that comes to mind?
Obviously I think of Tiger Woods because of his name. We are fans of golf on TV.
3. The expression 'eye of the tiger' describes someone with intense focus, determination, and the drive to succeed. What area of your life are you currently bringing that kind of energy to?
Absolutely nothing. I do have the determination to succeed. It's just not happening yet. I pray I get my health back so I can go on living a normal life.
4. What was the last meal you cooked?
Actually I haven't cooked in a while because of the issues I'm having with my legs and ankle.
Mark's been doing all of the cooking which is greatly appreciated. He's been baking and cooking. He's enjoying making meals in the crock pot too. He grills a lot of meat also. He's been doing it all and I appreciate it so much.
5. Describe your July using exactly five words.
Fun having James stay overnight.

We have truly been enjoying James spending some time here with us. We just had him here last Thursday evening and then Mark drove him to his aunts house and him, along with his cousins were heading to Las Vegas for the weekend. I can't wait to hear about his trip.
The sweetest thing is when Mark and him left and James said "See you next weekend!"

My hubs does a lot of grilling this time of year too and I appreciate the break. I get tired of thinking about what to cook. Glad you're having so much fun with James. Grandparents are so good for children and love them in a way that I think can stay with them their whole lives. Have a nice day Debby!
So sweet of Mark to cook for you both, Debby. Danny does all the cooking here, too, and I so appreciate it. Have a blessed day, my friend!
I'm so happy that Mark does the bulk of your cooking and baking these days. That is such a blessing for you! It's been too hot here to even cook outside, so we try to do simple meals that don't require using the oven much. You are so blessed to have James nearby and that you can enjoy so much time together! I know you love it, and it sounds like he does too!! Making lots of great memories together is wonderful!!! Please take care, and I pray your health will get better as the days go by.
Hooray for a hubby who cooks and bakes! I'm glad that is working for the both of you. That is a sweet thing to hear 'see you next weekend'. Take care, Debby.
Jeremy grills a lot during the summer too. It is a very nice break for me. And we have less dishes to do. ;-)
I hope James enjoys his trip.

In our family, I handle the grilling. My husband isn’t much of a cook, but he makes a fantastic pizza, so that’s his contribution. He can grill, but he tends to get distracted and ends up burning things.
You have such a darling grandson...I love that he is looking forward to next weekend.
Mark is a winner for you !!! Doing all of the cooking and baking is fantastic.
Still praying for you and that the pain will be healed.

Hi Debby, I know James makes you happy. Enjoy him while he is little. Lots of memories for you to make. My husband does a lot of cooking. He mostly does the meats, and I do most of the sides. Good that you can be off your feet. Have fun with James!
Nice that Mark does the cooking. I miss having my husband to share the cooking duties. Even though he was very limited on what he would cook/eat it was nice when he would make dinner.
I'm glad that you get to spend so much time with James. He sure does bring a lot of joy to you guys.
Meal planning has always been a chore for me and now that it's just the two of us and neither of us have a huge appetite, planning is even more difficult. Our neighbors eat out for every meal, and that doesn't even appeal to us. Oh well! So glad you've had a lot of visiting time with sweet James this summer.
Having Mark doing all the cooking sounds like a real blessing! And what an example he's setting for James!
That is so nice Mark is helping you by cooking. And maybe he can get James to help him a bit - teach to serve. When does James get back? Maybe you two can cook or bake together too.
